Rhabdocupes protensus

Taxonomy
Amblomma protensa was named by Tan et al. (2006). Its type specimen is CNU-C-LB2005008(1-2), an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2005 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.

It was recombined as Zygadenia protensa by Kirejtshuk (2020); it was recombined as Notocupes protensa by Strelnikova and Yan (2023); it was recombined as Rhabdocupes protensus by Strelnikova and Yan (2023).
