Aclistomycter dunagani
Taxonomy
Merycoidodon dunagani was named by Wilson (1971). Its type specimen is TMM 40209-227, a maxilla (right maxillary with dP3-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Reeves Bonebed, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial horizon in Texas.
It was recombined as Prodesmatochoerus dunagani by Lander (1998); it was recombined as Aclistomycter dunagani by Stevens and Stevens (2007).
