Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
D.K. Pandey et al. 2012 Shells small to large, evolute, septate till end, compressed. Whorl section suboval with faintly arched lanks merging smoothly into well rounded venter (Fig. 41A-C). Umbilical wall feebly arched to indistinct, merging gradually into lanks. Ornamentation consists of gradually varicostate, ine primary ribs originating near the umbilical margin with prorsiradiate orientation running consistently forwardly inclined across the lank. Primaries branch regularly into two iner secondaries near the ventrolateral region and cross the venter with slight forward-directed convexity (Fig. 41D, E). Ribbing density is moderate, increasing steeply from diameters of 30 to 70 mm (Fig. 42). Constrictions distinct, numbering at least two per whorl. Suture lines closely spaced at the mature stage.
