Mytonomeryx scotti

Taxonomy
Mytonomeryx scotti was named by Gazin (1955) [genotype]. Its type specimen is USNM 20401, a partial skeleton (Skull, jaws, and other skeletal portions), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Myton Pocket, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Uinta Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Mytonomeryx.
