Notharctus tenebrosus
Taxonomy
Notharctus tenebrosus was named by Leidy (1870). Its type specimen is U.S.N.M. No. 3752, a mandible (nearly complete ramus of a lower jaw with C1, P2-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Black's Fork, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
