Taxonomy
Pachyarmatherium leiseyi was named by Downing and White (1995) [genotype]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Leisey Shell Pit 1A, which is in an Irvingtonian estuary/bay sandstone/siltstone in the Bermont Formation of Florida.
