Palaearctonyx meadi
Taxonomy
Palaearctonyx meadi was named by Matthew (1909) [genotype]. Its type specimen is AMNH 12158, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Twin Buttes (Lower Bridger), which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Palaearctonyx.
