Parictops multicuspis
Taxonomy
Parictops multicuspis was named by Granger (1910) [type locality is "From the Wind River beds (Lambdotherium zone) on Alkali Creek, Wind River Basin, Wyoming. Amer. Mus. Exped. 1909." possibly 16207]. Its type specimen is AMNH 14741, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Parictops.
It was recombined as Palaeictops multicuspis by Van Valen (1967), Novacek (1977) and Velazco and Novacek (2016).
