Taxonomy
Pariadens kirklandi was named by Cifelli and Eaton (1987) [genotype]. Its type locality is Dakota Formation (UCM Loc. 85358), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial horizon in the Dakota Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Pariadens.
