Paromomys maturus

Taxonomy
Paromomys maturus was named by Gidley (1923). Its type specimen is U.S.N.M. no. 9473, a mandible (right lower jaw with P4-M3 and anterior alveoli), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gidley Quarry, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.
