Peraceras superciliosus
Taxonomy
Peraceras superciliosus was named by Cope (1880) [genotype]. Its type specimen is AMNH 8380, a skull (a nearly perfect skull, which lacks the lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Peraceras.
It was recombined as Aphelops superciliosus by Hay (1902); it was corrected as Peraceras superciliosum by Prothero (2005).
