Phenacops incerta

Taxonomy
Phenacops incerta was named by Matthew (1909). Its type specimen is AMNH 12092, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Henry's Fork Hill (Bridger C), which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Phenacops.

It was synonymized subjectively with Didelphodus altidens by McKenna et al. (1962) and Van Valen (1966).
