Picrodus silberlingi

Taxonomy
Picrodus silberlingi was named by Douglass (1908). Its type specimen is Carnegie Mus. no 1670, a mandible (incomplete right dentary with p4, m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Silberling Quarry, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial horizon in the "Fort Union" (= Lebo) Formation of Montana. It is the type species of Picrodus.
