Plesiadapis simonsi
Taxonomy
Plesiadapis simonsi was named by Gingerich (1975). Its type specimen is PU 17814, a mandible (right mandible with M1-2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Plesiadapis simonsi type locality, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
