Plesiadapis tricuspidens
Taxonomy
Plesiadapis tricuspidens was named by Gervais (1877). Its type specimen is MNHN Crl-16, a mandible (left mandibular fragment with M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Calcaire de Rilly near Reims, which is in a Thanetian terrestrial horizon in France. It is the type species of Plesiadapis.
