Plesiocolopirus hancocki
Taxonomy
Colodon hancocki was named by Radinsky (1963). Its type specimen is UOMNH 20377, a partial skull (anterior part of a skull with left P1'-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Protapirus hancocki by Hanson (1996) and Colbert and Schoch (1998); it was recombined as Plesiocolopirus hancocki by Schoch (1989), Albright (1998) and Holbrook (1999).
