Phenacolemur cavatus
Taxonomy
Phenacolemur cavatus was named by Anemone et al. (2024). Its type specimen is CM 79226, a mandible (right dentary preserving p4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Twelvemile Gulch, which is in a Clarkforkian fluvial siltstone in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
