Taxonomy
Poabromylus kayi was named by Peterson (1931) [genotype]. Its type specimen is CM 11753, a mandible (Left ramus of mandible with P3 to M3, inclusive), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Titanothere Quarry, which is in a Duchesnean terrestrial horizon in the Duchesne River Formation of Utah.
