Pristinictis connata

Taxonomy
Pristinictis connata was named by Fox and Youzwyshyn (1994). Its type specimen is UALVP 24949, a maxilla (incomplete left maxilla containing P4, M1-2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cochrane 2, which is in a Ti1 fluvial-lacustrine siltstone in the Paskapoo Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Pristinictis.
