It was corrected as Tectamichelinia by Webb and Sutherland (1993).

It was assigned to Micheliniinae by Webb and Sutherland (1993); and to Tabulata by Sepkoski (2002).

Sutherland 1993CoraMum cerioid, massive to ramose, lacking holotheca; branches cylindrical or flattened; corallites polygonal, opening at surface at near right angles; walls thin in axial region thickening distally in mature regions approaching peripheral stereozone where calices are lined by thick layers of stereoplasm, microstructure undulating laminar; mature calices shallow, flat with deeper axial pit and radiating, low septal ridges; tabulae complete and incomplete, convex distally; septal spines on walls and tabulae; mural pores abundant.
