Nannodectes intermedius

Pronothodectes intermedius was named by Gazin (1971). Its type specimen is UW 3223, a mandible (lower jaw), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shotgun, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Nannodectes intermedius by Gingerich (1975) and Gingerich (1976).
