Anomoemys lohiculus
Taxonomy
Prosciurus lohiculus was named by Matthew and Granger (1923). Its type specimen is AMNH 19100, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loh, which is in an Oligocene terrestrial horizon in the Hsanda Gol Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Anomoemys.
It was recombined as Anomoemys lohiculus by Wang (1986) and Gomes Rodrigues et al. (2014).
