Varalphadon wahweapensis
Taxonomy
Protalphadon wahweapensis was named by Cifelli (1990). Its type locality is OMNH V6, Wahweap Creek, which is in a Campanian terrestrial horizon in the Kaiparowits Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Varalphadon.
It was recombined as Varalphadon wahweapensis by Johanson (1996) and Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004).
