Protemnocyon inflatus

Taxonomy
Protemnocyon inflatus was named by Hatcher (1902). Its type specimen is CM 552, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cedar Creek (Hat Creek Basin), which is in an Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Brule Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Protemnocyon.
