Protictis minor
Taxonomy
Protictis minor was named by Meehan and Wilson (2002). Its type specimen is KUVP 7801, a skull (right ramus with p2-m1 and damaged m2 and left ramus with p2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Big Pocket, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial siltstone in the Nacimiento Formation of New Mexico.
