Loxolophus hyattianus

Taxonomy
Chriacus hyattianus was named by Cope (1885). Its type specimen is AMNH 3121, a maxilla (crushed fragment of maxilla containing LM1-M3), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Protochriacus hyattianus by Matthew (1897); it was recombined as Loxolophus hyattianus by Scott (1892), Matthew (1937), Hunter (1997) and Eberle and Lillegraven (1998).
