Protoselene griphus

Taxonomy
Dracoclaenus griphus was named by Gazin (1939) [genotype]. Its type locality is Dragon Canyon, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial horizon in the North Horn Formation of Utah. It is the type species of Dracoclaenus.

It was recombined as Protoselene griphus by Robison (1986), Williamson and Lucas (1993) and Williamson (1996).
