Taxonomy
Pseudoceras skinneri was named by Frick (1937). Its type specimen is F:AM 33723, a mandible (left mandibular ramus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is East Kat Quarry, which is in a Clarendonian terrestrial horizon in the Ash Hollow Formation of Nebraska.
