Pseudoprotoceras longinaris

Taxonomy
Pseudoprotoceras longinaris was named by Cook (1934). Its type specimen is No. HC507, a partial skeleton (anterior portion of a skull with associated astragalus and navicular), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Chadronia Pocket, which is in a Chadronian terrestrial siltstone in the Chadron Formation of Nebraska.

It was synonymized subjectively with Poabromylus kayi by Wilson (1974).
