Taxonomy
Pseudotomus sundelli was named by Eaton (1982). Its type locality is Blue Point Marker (UW V-78001), which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.

It was recombined as Quadratomus sundelli by Korth (1985).
