Smilodectes gracilis

Taxonomy
Sarcolemur gracilis was named by Marsh (1871). Its type specimen is YPM 11800, a mandible (anterior part of a left mandibular ramus containing p4, m1, and a portion of p3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grizzly Buttes, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
