Taxonomy
Schizotheriodes parvus was named by Hough (1955) [genotype]. Its type locality is Hough Draw, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Dell Beds Formation of Montana.
It was recombined as Schizotheroides parvus by Skinner and Gooris (1966).
