Taxonomy
Eucyrtidium was named by Ehrenberg (1847) [Sepkoski's age data: J Tith-l R Sepkoski's reference number: 685]. It is extant. Its type is Lithocampe acuminata. It is the type genus of Eucyrtidiidae.

It was assigned to Eucyrtidiidae by De Wever et al. (2001); and to Nassellaria by Sepkoski (2002).
