Sinopa grangeri
Taxonomy
Sinopa grangeri was named by Matthew (1906). Its type locality is Cottonwood Creek (Lower Bridger), which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Proviverra grangeri by Van Valen (1965); it was synonymized subjectively with Sinopa major by Gazin (1976) and Gunnell (1998).
