Smilodectes sororis

Taxonomy
Smilodectes sororis was named by Gunnell (2002). Its type specimen is UM 104807, a mandible (right dentary with m1-2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is South Pass (Gardnerbuttean), which is in a Bridgerian fluvial-lacustrine shale/carbonate in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.
