Taxonomy
Shumardia keguqinensis was named by Xiang and Zhang (1984). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sayram, Tianshan, Upper part, which is in a Tremadocian marine siltstone/sandstone in the Sayram Formation of China.
