Spermophilus fricki

Taxonomy
Citellus fricki was named by Hibbard (1942). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jack Swayze Quarry, which is in a Hemphillian terrestrial horizon in the Ogallala Formation of Kansas.

It was recombined as Otospermophilus fricki by Barnosky (1986); it was recombined as Spermophilus fricki by Hemming (1956), Shotwell (1968), Wilson and Reeder (1993) and Korth (1994).
