Strigorhysis huerfanensis

Taxonomy
Strigorhysis huerfanensis was named by Bown and Rose (1987). Its type specimen is AMNH 55218, a partial skull (fragmentary left mandible with p4-m3 and right maxillary fragment preserving P3-4 (damaged), M2-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huerfano I, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Huerfano Formation of Colorado.
