It was recombined as Paratetonius musculus by Gazin (1952); it was recombined as Anemorhysis musculus by Gazin (1958), McKenna (1960), Gazin (1962), Guthrie (1967), Bown (1974) and Szalay (1976); it was recombined as Tetonoides musculus by Bown (1979); it was considered a nomen dubium by Bown and Rose (1984).
