Taxonomy
Thisbemys corrugatus was named by Wood (1959) [genotype; in McGrew et al.]. Its type locality is North of Cedar Mountain, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Thisbemys.
