Ticholeptus hypsodus

Taxonomy
Ticholeptus hypsodus was named by Loomis (1924). Its type specimen is AMNH 14057, a mandible (Partial right ramus with /c-p2 alv. and p3-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was synonymized subjectively with Ticholeptus zygomaticus by Morea (1981), Kelly and Lander (1988) and Lander (1998).

MANDIBL'E,-Similarto T. zygomaticus; slightly smaller.
DENTITION.-Superior and inferior series approximately same length as those of T. zygomaticus, but somewhat lighter.
LIMBS.-Heavier than those of T. rileyi and T. tooheyi.
