Turgidodon parapraesagus

Taxonomy
Alphadon parapraesagus was named by Rigby and Wolberg (1987). Its type locality is Fossil Forest Quarry 1, which is in an Edmontonian terrestrial horizon in New Mexico.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Johanson (1996); it was recombined as Turgidodon parapraesagus by Cifelli (1990) and Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004).
