Turgidodon rhaister

Taxonomy
Alphadon rhaister was named by Clemens (1966). Its type specimen is UCMP V-50292, a set of teeth, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mammal Quarry No. 2 (UCMP V-5815), which is in a Lancian terrestrial sandstone in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.

It was recombined as Turgidodon rhaister by Cifelli (1990), Johanson (1996), Hunter (1997) and Kielan-Jaworowska et al. (2004).
