Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
M. S. Stevens et al. 1969A small Hypsiops with higher crowned teeth and much more
slender limbs than H. luskensis.
M. S. Stevens et al. 2023Smallest species of Ustatochoerus, with slightly elongate nasals, deeper narial notch, facial vacuity, premolars with prominent labial cingula, and relatively hypsodont molars. These features all distinguish this taxon from other Arikareean oreodonts and ally it with Ustatochoerus.
