Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
T. M. Lehman 1989Differs from other species of Chasmosaurus in its short, broad squamosal (length/width=1.95, comparedwith 2.60-3.10 in other species) bearing six very large epoccipitals (7-9 in other species) in adults; maxilla without lateral horizontal shelf; premaxilla without posterodorsal extension; supraorbital horncores longer in adults than in other species of Chasmosaurus.
