Taxonomy
Thescelosaurus neglectus was named by Gilmore (1913). Its type specimen is USNM 7757, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Thescelosaurus type, Dogie Creek, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.
