Hallopus victor

Taxonomy
Nanosaurus victor was named by Marsh (1877). Its type specimen is YPM 1914, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jennings & Johnson locality (YPM), which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian crevasse splay sandstone in the Morrison Formation of Colorado.

It was recombined as Hallopus victor by Marsh (1881), Dollo (1889), Zittel (1890), Marsh (1891), Marsh (1896), Woodward (1898), Mansel-Pleydell (1902), Hay (1902), Huene and Lull (1908), Huene (1914), Steel (1970), Norell and Storrs (1989) and Irmis et al. (2013).
