K. A. v. Zittel 1890Wirbel amphicöl. Vorderbeine sehr klein; Hand mit vier Zehen. Hinterbeine sehr lang, dreizehig. Metatarsalia lang, schlank. Calcaneus gross, stark nach hinten verlängert. Wirbel und Extremitätenknochen hohl. Sacrum mit nur zwei Wirbeln. Acetabidum aus Ileum, Ischium und Pubis gebildet. Schambeine stabförmig, nach vorne und unten gerichtet, distal kaum verbreitert und in der Symphyse nicht coössißcirt. Ischia distal verbreitert, in der Symphyse zusammenstossend. Tibia viel länger als Femur.

Lull 1924Very small animals, possessing backwardly projecting calcaneum, as though adapted for leaping; skull with triangular preorbital fenestral and large, round orbit; teeth pointed, somewhat recurved; pubis as long as much-curved femur (3-3/4 inches); fifth metatarsals strongly reduced; digits ii, iii, iv, and v of pes with claws, fourth very short; hind limbs three and a half times as long as fore.
