Aquia

Taxonomy
Aquia was named by Crane et al. (1993) [Association evidence, similarities in cuticular structure, and the occurrence of Aquia-type pollen on carpels of Platanocarpus brookensis, suggest that these reproductive structures and the co-ocurring Sapindopsis leaves were produced by the same plant species, the "Aquia plant".]. Its type is Aquia brookensis.

It was assigned to Platanaceae by Crane et al. (1993).
