Norell et al. 1994We provisionally diagnose this group by the following derived features: pit in the rostrum for occlusion of the fourth mandibular tooth, quadratojugal spine on the posterior margin of the lateral temporal fenestra very small or absent, foramen aerum on the dorsal surface of the articular, displaced laterad to medial edge ofretroarticular process, atlas intercentrum longer than broad.
